EXPERIMENT #2 - ‘PUL-SA-TION’ (2023)

This piece of Video Art is an exploration of objects under pressure.

Inspired by the traditional art of flower-pressing, whereby organic forms are deformed and compressed, we aimed to create an unfamiliar but captivating world.

Using video, we explored this concept in motion - imprints ebb and flow as everyday objects become abstract and seem to re-animate. The peculiar movements and quirky tendencies were coaxed through the simple vehicle of pressure through a glass sheet and captured by macro cinematography.
