FLEURS EXPLOSIVES (2017)
This collection features a series of outtakes from a commercial photography commission.
Following my first solo exhibition, 'Without Water,' in 2015, featuring a series of decaying flowers, I gained a reputation as a specialist in floral photography. Since then, I have received numerous commissions to create unique artistic flower images for commercial campaigns—where art meets commerce.
The brief for this project was to illustrate the striking phenomenon of flowers shattering upon impact, utilizing liquid nitrogen for the effect.
Collaborating with my creative partner, florist Basia Puchalski, we first captured images of each floral bouquet before their destruction as optional images.
These are the selected magical outtakes, reimagined.
